Hey đź‘‹ I'm Rachel Louise
As a self-confessed nerd (couldn't hide it even if I tried), I love it when people are confident enough to let their inner geek out too! But don't let my own nerdiness scare you off, just because I am a nerd who plans weddings doesn't mean that the only weddings I plan are all in-your-face, overtly themed weddings. Luxurious and subtle theming are on offer too!

The wizard behind it all
I may be in my 30s but I am still very much a child at heart

Fandoms
Sliiiightly obsessed with Disney, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Marvel, DC, Dr Who, Sherlock, musical theatre, food, pin badges and much more. A proud Hufflepuff, lover of food, strong sense of justice and loyalty.

Personal Life
I am the oldest of 5 siblings and grew up in Wales. I went to University in Aberystwyth, studied English Literature and Drama & Theatre Studies. I'm a proud bisexual, neurospicy woman and use she/her pronouns.

Animal Lover
I love animals and have been looking to adopt cats & dogs since I moved to London. Hoping for some fur babies of my own very soon.

Fun and Silly
I don't take myself too seriously, love to have fun, be silly and have a good giggle. Also prone to using expletives - the more excited I get, the more curse words that appear!

Autumnal Girl
My favourite season is Autumn - I love a good night in curled up on the sofa, under a blanket, drinking a hot chocolate and watching a film with great company or snuggled up with a good book.
My biggest reasons 'why'
There are so many reasons why people get into the wedding industry or become self-employed, but here are some of mine

Helping Others
I decided to become a wedding planner to make wedding planning accessible to as many couples as possible and to make a difference in people's lives.
Making happy couples
Creating weddings unique to each couple and seeing them light up when they see their ideas come to life.
Charitable causes
Donating 5% of all profits to charity (my chosen charities are currently Crohns & Colitis UK and The Little Princess Trust).
Accessible to all
Many wedding resources are not easily accessible to those with different abilities including neurodiversity, visual impairments and colour blindness.
Defying convention
Many wedding planning resources revolve around long-standing and often outdated traditions.
Open to all
A lot of resources and services are very much aimed at the cis, heterosexual couple rather than being open to all.
